Great trip to Minnesota to spend time with family and friends. I did some winter driveway car camping and stayed at Mystic Lake Casino for New Years… And we still have mystic fog.

While sightseeing on my road trip home, I visited Thorncrown Chapel, did some hiking by Lake Leatherwood, saw the world’s largest praying hands, and did some other “failed” exploring… Not really a failure, because I always enjoy the journey traveling in my van.

Traveling in my van through the South… Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas. Truckstop shower, Van workout — Back and Triceps, Exploring Helen Keller’s birthplace, and an overnight at KOA.

I’m headed back to Colorado. First night camp site with Key Lime Pie and lots of trees. I’m looking forward to my hike tomorrow.
