▪ Never take responsibility if you are a victim of a crime or abuse–but everything you do after that crime or abuse is your responsibility.
▪Don’t give away your power. When you blame another person, situation or circumstance for your unhappiness, or you wait for somebody to change, apologize or rescue you, you give that person or incident power over you and your life.
▪Be honest with yourself and start asking, “What is my role in this?”
▪If you’re not happy, change your life so you are. It’s your life, so be proactive by pinpointing your problems and creating solutions.
