I love this place! I’ve been going since I was a kid, and now solo traveling in my van to Casa Bonita brings back so many memories.

My first travel vlog road trip.
While sightseeing on my road trip home, I visited Thorncrown Chapel, did some hiking by Lake Leatherwood, saw the world’s largest praying hands, and did some other “failed” exploring… Not really a failure, because I always enjoy the journey traveling in my van.

Traveling in my van through the South… Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas. Truckstop shower, Van workout — Back and Triceps, Exploring Helen Keller’s birthplace, and an overnight at KOA.

On my roadtrip through Georgia and Alabama, I did some hiking (and tripping), sightseeing miniatures at a church and worlds first drive-through museum, and more experiences as an introverted traveler.

Made it to Florida… Left Florida.
The hurricanes chased me away.
I’m headed back to Colorado. First night camp site with Key Lime Pie and lots of trees. I’m looking forward to my hike tomorrow.

I delayed posting this video because of Hurricane Milton. I’m thankful it was not as bad as expected… still heartbreaking.
My heart and prayers are with everybody suffering from hurricane devastation.
I left Florida before Milton made landfall.
This is the last stretch of my road trip to Florida. I went through beautiful Tennessee, Georgia, and into Florida. I visited Rock City and a couple of state parks. I was able to spend a little time in Florida before I had to leave.

While in Illinois, I manage to get a quick morning workout in before visiting Ferne Clyffe State Park and Superman.
I do some hiking to get my steps, discover my new favorite thing, and I bought myself a green stone to remind me of Superman and the Fortress of Solitude.
I’m staying faithful to my roadtrip fitness and not being in a rush.
I’m still loving every second!
