Today’s Challenge: Be careful around “friends” who often put down others.
… and don’t always believe the rumors you hear about other people.
Today’s Challenge: Imagine everybody you meet is a family member.
I know some people aren’t close with their family, but I’m one of the lucky ones who LOVES my relatives like crazy. I’m not perfect, they’re not perfect, but around these people, I can be myself and they can be who they are. I feel the same way about my friends, they are family, too.
Sometimes I get caught up in my own world, in my own busy life, and I don’t want to connect with others; I don’t want to put in the effort. 😦 So I decided to imagine that these strangers are my family, no need for awkward small talk. I already know these people and they already know me.
For an introvert, this is not always easy, but this little trick of the mind has opened up my world and I’m loving it! And truthfully, aren’t we all family… aren’t we all so very much connected anyway… 🙂
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND… AND HAVE FUN WITH YOUR HUGE FAMILY!
Today’s Challenge: Hang with good people.
Stick around positive, happy, healthy, successful people who have goals and dreams–it’s contagious!
Avoid the complainers, whiners, drunks, druggies, thieves, abusers and needy people–it’s contagious!
Have a great weekend! 🙂

Today’s Challenge: In moments of stress, write down your feelings… wait 20 minutes, then read what you wrote as if you are an objective friend who has the solution. 🙂

Today’s Challenge: Don’t let anyone pressure you into something you’re not comfortable with.
Today’s Challenge: When people around you are driving you crazy, step away and get some alone time. 🙂
I’ve had to ignore phone calls. I’ve had to avoid people. I’ve even had to close my blinds and lock myself in my home alone, just to catch my breath. LOL 🙂
It’s so nice to step away once in a while… refreshing.
Today’s Challenge: Listen to people you trust.
My editor told me my novel wasn’t finished, there was no ending…
Frustrated, I took a break. When I reread the book, I discovered she was right.
A couple of days ago, I woke up crying (happy tears) because the ending came to me…
Now I’m back to rewriting.
It’s funny how I can be so stubborn and stuck on one line… only later to discover that the one line wasn’t that good after all… LOL 🙂
