My introvert nature was on full alert in Page, Arizona. I avoided crowds and skipped Horseshoe Bend, but I did hike Hanging Garden Trail and a couple other incredible places.

I’ve wanted to see the Grand Canyon my whole life. I decided to book the historic hotel for this amazing trip. Thankful.
I did some hiking, exploring, a mule ride, and I had great meals while staying at El Tovar.
Grand Canyon was an unforgettable stop, and I will be back… Next time, camping IN the canyon!

I spent a few days in Sedona, and I hope I’m never the same.
I did some body work, breath work, hiking, and talking with a group of wonderful people who wanted to help me. I was ready for this adventure without realizing it.

As I head West through Arizona, I’m making life changes.
I hike through Petrified Forest National Park and work on my 10K steps, drive through the Wigwam Motel, stand on the corner in Winslow, Arizona, and check out the Meteor Crater all before I make my way to Sedona for a few days of car camping, hiking, and getting some help with sleep.

I kept searching for a place to hike in Oklahoma. I was tested… until I found a wonderful, unexpected alternative! Turns out I didn’t need a “hike,” I just needed to get out and move! And a lake full of turtles! I love these surprise detours!
Much soul searching on this drive… I’m going to find a way to take more road trips, more car camping, and much more traveling the USA!

Had a wonderful time exploring Kansas while traveling and car camping in my van… though being alone can be challenging at times.
I stayed at Wilson Lake and visited S. P. Dinsmoor and the Garden of Eden. And I (hopefully) saved a turtle, all while getting in my 10,000 steps. More Kansas exploring on next video.

Winter Camping at a Colorado Reservoir
Coldest night yet while winter camping at Horsetooth Reservoir in Colorado.
I cooked a hot meal in my van for the first time, did some hiking/walking and exploring to get my 10,000 steps, lost my solar lights, and made a snow angel. All in all, it was a wonderful, needed trip.
