While sightseeing on my road trip home, I visited Thorncrown Chapel, did some hiking by Lake Leatherwood, saw the world’s largest praying hands, and did some other “failed” exploring… Not really a failure, because I always enjoy the journey traveling in my van.

#VanTravel Tennessee Georgia and into Florida
I delayed posting this video because of Hurricane Milton. I’m thankful it was not as bad as expected… still heartbreaking.
My heart and prayers are with everybody suffering from hurricane devastation.
I left Florida before Milton made landfall.
This is the last stretch of my road trip to Florida. I went through beautiful Tennessee, Georgia, and into Florida. I visited Rock City and a couple of state parks. I was able to spend a little time in Florida before I had to leave.

Travel Illinois to Florida Pt.3
While in Illinois, I manage to get a quick morning workout in before visiting Ferne Clyffe State Park and Superman.
I do some hiking to get my steps, discover my new favorite thing, and I bought myself a green stone to remind me of Superman and the Fortress of Solitude.
I’m staying faithful to my roadtrip fitness and not being in a rush.
I’m still loving every second!

On my roadtrip to Florida Pt. 1, I start in Colorado, do some hiking to get my 10,000 steps, make it into Kansas, and stop at Walter P. Chrysler boyhood home in honor of my Chrysler Pacifica minivan.
I check out Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, do the introvert thing… before looking for a place to park and sleep for the night.

My Experience Going Through Hurricane Ian #travelvideos
It’s been almost 2 years since I traveled in my minivan to Florida to enjoy the beach… but instead, I went through Hurricane Ian.
I had just started my solo van traveling, so I wasn’t making videos at the time. I wish I had captured everything, but I’m glad I have some video and pictures. I’ll never forget this experience.
