Made it to Florida… Left Florida.
The hurricanes chased me away.
I’m headed back to Colorado. First night camp site with Key Lime Pie and lots of trees. I’m looking forward to my hike tomorrow.

While in Illinois, I manage to get a quick morning workout in before visiting Ferne Clyffe State Park and Superman.
I do some hiking to get my steps, discover my new favorite thing, and I bought myself a green stone to remind me of Superman and the Fortress of Solitude.
I’m staying faithful to my roadtrip fitness and not being in a rush.
I’m still loving every second!

On my roadtrip to Florida Pt. 1, I start in Colorado, do some hiking to get my 10,000 steps, make it into Kansas, and stop at Walter P. Chrysler boyhood home in honor of my Chrysler Pacifica minivan.
I check out Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, do the introvert thing… before looking for a place to park and sleep for the night.

While in Florida, I explored beaches, state parks, and other tourist attractions. My pedometer stopped working, but I didn’t stop moving! 😊

It’s been one year of this introvert, homebody traveling in my van, road trips, camping, hiking, fitness, sightseeing, roadside attractions, and exploring… AND trying to catch it all on video.
I’ve learned a lot, done a lot, seen a lot… and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Though introverted, there are moments when I feel alone… and this was one of those days.
I loved my stay in the Badlands! 2nd day of hiking, exploring, sightseeing, and searching for Buffalo! Another great road trip traveling in my van. Next time I will stay longer. 🙂
