I’m in Kansas! Exploring and hiking in the fog.
I visited Mushroom Rock State Park, Castle Rock Badlands, Monument Rocks, and Little Jerusalem State Park.
Beautiful and eerie hikes!
I found a somewhat secluded spot off the highway for a night of quiet, stealth camping. I buggered up my back, ran low on food and gas, but we (me and my van) powered through.
I love my van!

I spent a few days adventuring around Colorado Springs and in the mountains.
I did something I said I’d never do – Royal Gorge Bridge.
I was almost taken out by a goat – Bishop Castle.
I ate in a plane – The Airplane Restaurant.
I checked out the Manitou Cliff Dwellings.
And I ended up stealth camping in a hotel parking lot.
Wonderful few days…

On my roadtrip to Florida Pt. 1, I start in Colorado, do some hiking to get my 10,000 steps, make it into Kansas, and stop at Walter P. Chrysler boyhood home in honor of my Chrysler Pacifica minivan.
I check out Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, do the introvert thing… before looking for a place to park and sleep for the night.
