Find a way to laugh…
Call a friend.
Watch a movie.
Remember some fun from the past.
Find a way to light up your day.

Sometimes, we just need to know that everything is OK.
That everything will be OK.
We are safe.
~~~
Have a great weekend… and find somebody who needs some reassurance.
❤️❤️❤️
Compromise feels good.
Creating a win/win feels great.
Might be your phone…
Pictures and videos…
Address book…
Old texts…
Maybe it’s time to defrag the computer…
Clean out the car…
Bedroom closet…
Refrigerator…
Kitchen cupboards…
Under bathroom sink…
Basement…
Garage…
Clean out the file cabinet in your office…
Shred…
Make some space in your living room…
Donate furniture, clothes, dishes…
…
Space is refreshing. Calming.
❤️❤️❤️
And who would want that anyway?
But is it enough?
That is the question.
❤️❤️❤️
It is a choice.
We can choose that and change our life within seconds.
❤️❤️❤️
Instead of fighting who you are, try embracing it.
A friend of mine was “supposed” to be on vacation.
She was “supposed” to relax, read a couple of books, and take leisurely walks on the beach.
Every time she tried to do the things she was “supposed” to do, she became frustrated… somewhat angry…
She couldn’t focus on the book she was reading.
She made mental to-do lists on her walks.
She thought about all the things she wanted to achieve, all the work she needed to get done.
After a night of being disappointed by her inability to “relax”…
She made her morning coffee, sat on the deck overlooking the ocean, and decided she liked who she was.
She liked that she was a hard worker.
She liked that she had ambition… It was her ambition that made an ocean vacation possible.
She shifted from what she thought she was “supposed” to do, to a vacation full of everything she wanted to do.
She took long power walks on the beach. (Blisters involved)
She worked. But usually just from her phone. (Rarely pulled out the laptop)
And she enjoyed quiet moments in the morning with her coffee, overlooking the ocean, and giving thanks.
Once she stopped trying to be somebody she wasn’t, she was able to relax… in her own way.
She said her vacation was perfect. 😊
❤️❤️❤️
We can only change ourselves… or at least how we deal with others.
So simple… but not easy. 🙃
❤️❤️❤️
To all the good men out there…
Thank you for being strong and loyal and amazing. Thank you for being MEN!
